My professional focus is employment, especially for persons traditionally excluded from employment opportunities due to discrimination (based on race, national origin, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation/gender identity,or other personal characteristics); inadequate education or training; lack of labor market experience; location in high-unemployment locales or declining industries; or other disadvantages. My modes of practice include research, policy analysis, consulting to employers, and expert witness work in litigation. In this practice, I use social psychological concepts and materials extensively, and I have published my research in multiple behavioral science journals.
